The Jungle Company’s Design Brief involves the use of the abundant renewable resources around us, namely commercial Forestry. The forestry industry is a wasteful one but modern enterprises are increasingly focusing on under utilised resources within the industry in an effort to add value. Jungle Furniture occupies just such a niche.  We use only purpose grown hardwoods (Eucalyptus Grandis, Panniculata, and Black Wattle). NO indigenous hardwoods at all. Our wood is treated with non toxic Boron and Tung Oil and kiln dried. The tough coatings we use are the latest generation water based polymers with zero VOC’s.

Who is Jungle Furniture – Founders, staff members?
We are a small company of local men and women with no formal carpentry or furniture training. The company was founded by Sloan Crossley, BSC(Hons) Indus.Design. Central London School of Art & Design.

Where are we?
We are located in the north eastern mountain/forestry area of Mpumalanga, South Africa.
